About Me
Hi! I’m Heramb Vengurlekar, an Artificial Intelligence & Data Science engineer and backend/systems developer based in Mumbai, India.
I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) (2022–2026).
What Drives Me
I’m driven by a simple curiosity: I want to understand how things work and why they work the way they do.
My approach to learning is taking things apart—breaking down complex mechanisms, focusing on individual components in isolation, and seeing how each piece interacts systematically to work toward a larger whole.
A big part of that is understanding the everyday technology we take for granted and trying to recreate it from scratch from first principles, relying on open tools and resourcefulness.
Offline
When I’m not in front of a screen, you can usually find me:
- Reading: Going through books on science, history, philosophy, and other non-fiction topics.
- Running & Jogging: Going for regular long-distance runs, jogging, and marathon training.
- Cycling: Heading out for long bicycle rides on weekends.
- Trekking: Hiking trails and exploring hills and scenic viewpoints.
- Photography: Capturing scenes, light, and everyday moments when I’m out (browse gallery).
Experience & Leadership
- IT Systems Integration Intern @ Brisk Technovision Ltd (Mumbai):
- Deployed and evaluated the Atera Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform in an enterprise staging environment.
- Architected automated alert routing between monitoring endpoints, CRM, and ticketing systems to minimize downtime.
- Operations Team @ Developers’ Club, TSEC:
- Supported technical operations, data flows, and UI/UX design collaboration across student developer projects.
- International Service Director @ Rotaract Club of TSEC:
- Led cross-functional strategy planning, team coordination, logistics, and resource management for high-impact social initiatives.
